Alabama Roads Series, Frances Peek, August 23 to September 28, 2005
Documenting a specific section of Highway 280 between Waverly and Auburn, the Alabama roads series focuses on memory, both collective and individual. The series presents common roadside vistages that could be assigned to many rural thoroughfares, similar through specific yet common visual experiences.
Frances Peek is an Assistant Professor at Auburn University, and is the co-owner of Standard Deluxe Printing in Waverly, Alabama.
