David Wyrick, July 2004
David Wyrick is an artist currently residing in St. Paul, MN after migrating west from Milwaukee, WI. Using natural materials native to the areas that he resides and travels to, his works relate directly to the natural processes of these materials. While in Sumter County, he consulted with geologist, Richard Thurn to inform his work. He has had exhibitions throughout the Midwest and Tennessee with redistribution projects traveling across the continent. An exhibition of Wyrick’s work entitled, York, Sumter, is on display throughout the month.
