Woodland, Kathy Puzey, October 15 to November 16, 2004

Kathy Puzey was born in Logan, Utah, in 1971. She earned her BFA in printmaking and sculpture from Utah State University in 1997 and her MFA in printmaking in 2001. She studied in Florence, Italy in 1996. She has been a visiting artist at the University of Arizona, and a printing assistant for Karen Kunc at Anderson Ranch in Snowmass Village, Colorado, and at Littleton Studios, Spruce Pine, North Carolina. She was the recipient of the Vreeland Award and the Thomas P. Coleman Memorial Award in Printmaking at UNL in 2001. She is currently the Executive Director of the KHN Center for the Arts in Nebraska City, Nebraska, which facilitates emerging artists with residencies.
