Coleman Center Summer Art Class

Drawing and 2D Design with Garland Farwell

Learn classical drawing, collage, comics, poster art, collage, and package and textile design in the Coleman Center’s summer Drawing and 2-D Design Class. Taught by artist Garland Farwell, students will also learn about Futurism, Pop Art, and Graffiti Art as forms of visual communication. Drawing concepts taught will include line, value, form, composition and perspective. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to learn about skills in the arts!

The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM to 1 PM from June 10th to July 17th at the Coleman Center. Students of all skill level ages 13 to 17 are welcome to attend. All materials will be provided by the Coleman Center. A $10 registration fee and a parental permission slip must be filed in advance. Fee may be waived on basis of financial need.
