The Coleman Center for the Arts is pleased to offer a FREE outdoor screening of “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” (PG-13, 132 minutes) at Open House (across from the Piggly Wiggly in downtown York) on Thursday, July 31st at dusk/ 8 PM. This film tells the story of a White House butler who served eight American presidents over three decades. The film traces the dramatic changes that swept American society during this time, from the civil rights movement to Vietnam and beyond, and how those changes affected this man’s life and family.

Children 12 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult. A reasonable chance of thunderstorms will result in cancellation. Decisions will be made by 5pm.
