Join Laurel-based artist Michael Ross for a one-day drawing demonstration and workshop. Participants will learn drawing techniques, ways of looking, composition, and process.
This workshop is #FREE. Supplies and other required materials will be available. No prior experience is necessary.
The Drawing Workshop is part of the Coleman Center’s Community Arts Workshops series. These all-ages workshops focus on creative learning experiences and encourage friends and family to register together and work collaboratively.
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Michael Ross is a native of Laurel, earned a B.F.A. degree in painting from
The University of Mississippi, and an M.A. degree in drawing at Northern Illinois
University. Ross lived and worked in San Francisco from 1988 until his return to Mississippi in 2017.
This workshop is offered in partnership with the Educational Foundation of America and ArtPlace America.
