The CCA is pleased to welcome visiting artist Owen Mundy. Mundy’s work uses military portraiture and war imagery as a way to examine representations of personal and cultural identity in photography and film. In his time at the CCA he will create a community wide installation, the “Military Family Tree,” in the CCA gallery. Area residents will loan the artist their family military portraits for exhibition or reproduction in the installation. Portraits will be displayed on an artist created “mantle” that encircles the entire gallery.
