The Coleman Arts Summer Program (CASP) is a five week interactive arts education program offering visual art, dance, fitness, academic retention, leadership, and health and wellness activities for youth ages 4 – 18 in Sumter County. Participants will learn basic skills in visual art, dance, fitness, gardening, and leadership and participate in healthy physical and social activities in nature. Our purpose is to provide the building blocks necessary to inspire productive leaders through arts education. The CASP staff, comprised of educators, artists, local entrepreneurs, and community leaders, is committed to quality programming and personal development opportunities for program participants.
CASP runs from June 26 – July 28, 2023, Monday – Friday from 9:30AM – 4PM at the Coleman Center for the Arts campus located in downtown York (630 Avenue A, 614 Avenue A, 608 Avenue A, and 211 Broad St.). The program registration fee is $100 and includes a snack and lunch, along with a robust and diverse arts education, academic retention, and personal enrichment activities. Please note – Fridays are reserved for fields trips. A detailed schedule will be provide to all registrants prior to the start of the program.
The last day to register is Friday, June 16. Registration can be paid by cash or check in person, or electronically online via PayPal. You will receive a separate invoice via email for the CASP registration fee. The last day to pay the registration fee in full is July 15.
