Join us for an Artist Talk & Movie Night with Boze Riley, creator of the “The Wiz Movie Tribute,” a public art installation currently on exhibition in the windows of Pop Start in downtown York.
The installation features six, four-foot painted wood panels that explore the main themes of the 1978 movie The Wiz, an interpretation of the holiday classic The Wizard of Oz, reimagined with an all Black cast.
Refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public!
